If You Do Discord, and Want Company Election Night

I am thinking of opening a chat channel on Discord to talk about the results.  I am fully aware that we won't have final results Tuesday (barring something intensely unforeseen), but I don't see how I'm going to be able to avoid watching the returns.  I could use some company.  

Here's a link that should be good for 24 hours.  I'll re-up it if it seems like there's interest.

This will be a very anti-Trump space, and if you are rooting for Trump, please, please go elsewhere.  Like, forever.

Quietly, among all of us that have already voted and don't believe in jinxes, final results Tuesday with an overwhelming Biden win are not intensely unlikely. Just not the median projection.

But I never know when election day ends for me, or if I'll be coherent when it does. It starts off at 5:45 and goes until it ends.

Even were that true, the Trump campaign will certainly challenge everything everywhere in court, and I have no particular faith in the judicial system at this point in time.

If Biden wins by 10 points in various swing states by election night counts, court challenges about various mail-in ballot technicalities will be irrelevant. I agree with you about the judicial system, but I don't think they're quite ready yet to just toss huge Biden margins to Trump without at least pretending that the mechanism makes sense.

From your lips to god's ears. The thing is, Kavanaugh is on the Supreme Court. The Trump people have, repeatedly, tried to jump over the various appropriate appeals courts and land directly in the Supreme Court, which they will certainly do this time, and I no longer have any faith in the the Supreme Court.

I'm the precinct clerk here in the tiny town of Wales, but am highly likely to be watching whatever returns we have Tuesday night for however long I can stand it. I hope to drop in to your Discord channel that night and have, indeed, just joined it. That should make it easier to find come the night.
