If you've got the perfect bike, then you've got the perfect bike! There was a point where I was having trouble with my legs, and I used a folding step stool as a mounting block. I wonder if you could try something like that? I did find that the trash people took my stepstool away, one day, when I'd left it near the bins on pick up day, and I had to get another. I thought about attaching a string so I could pull it up and put it in my basket once I was mounted, but that seemed, um, more challenging than it was worth, so I just wrote "Not Trash" in sharpie all over the next one. And then I stopped needing it, so that was nice.
