Home again, home again, jiggedy-jig (Wiscon again)
Slowly, the pieces fall into place. I have a way to get to Wiscon. (Thank you Beth.) I have something to do when I get there. (Thank you, Elise.) I have a place to stay. (Thank you, Box o Delights -- and to others who also offered.) What I'm missing is a way to get home. I live in Minneapolis. Is there anybody heading in that direction on the way back? I don't need someone to drop me off at my door, if that's inconvenient. Our transit system may not be great, but it'll get me home from any reasonable stopping point.
I can also take a Greyhound home, so I'm not worried. The only thing that will stop me from getting to Wiscon at this point is if a) something unexpected happens, or b) I don't get better enough from this perfectly horrible virus that I have. It's Tuesday. I've been deathly ill since Sunday. There's a good chance I'll be on the mend, is my opinion. Anybody who has an in with the gods of disease, would you put in a good word for me? Thanks.
