Minnesota Pipes and Drugs
I bought some 4" PVC pipe fittings for my blood parrots over the weekend. They adore them. They've been swimming in and out of them constantly since I put them in the tank. When I got home today, Jasper (yes, I'm afraid all the blood parrots now have names) sat in the "Y" connector, staring at me with one eye, for about an hour. I haven't seen the silver dollar or the severum actually venture inside. The Chinese algae eater seems to like them, but gets pushed out by the blood parrots. Plato the pl*costomus hasn't shown any interest in them at all, which surprises me. At the moment, though, I think he's sulking because I rearranged the tank. Again. It's one of my flaws as an aquarist; I can't leave things alone. I'm always fussing with the decor.
I took my first dose of Provigil today. It's too early to have much of an opinion, but 100 mgs does seem to help out. I had insomnia last night. After I took the Provigil, I was still tired but I didn't fall asleep at my desk and I didn't feel quite so beaten-with-sticks exhausted, like I usually do after that little sleep.
I take it all back about Plato. He's in the pipe right now.
