Afghans coming along quite nicely
Jun. 11th, 2014 06:44 amSo, I finished my first afghan, promised to Patricia. It looks like this:

And here's a closeup of the detail, which I like a lot. The interlocking pineapples were fun to do, and I think visually very interesting.

The second afghan, promised to Naomi Kritzer, is coming along very well. I'm not quite as pleased with it, and I don't have pictures of it. The yarn ended up not feeling quite as nice, and I'm less sure about the color choices. I'm working on the last panel, and then there's assembly, and then on to Carol Kennedy's. Today, I chose a pattern and bought the yarn. So, that will be fun when I get there.
I'm going to have to slow down on all this crocheting for a bit, since I have a Hugo packet to read. But I'll post more pictures as applicable.
