Thumb therapy
Jul. 11th, 2014 10:12 amSo, I may have mentioned that my thumbs hurt. I may also have mentioned that around the house. A lot. So DDB offered to kiss them and make the better. He kissed them, and I guess that strictly speaking, the thumbs didn't get any better, but it sure made me feel better.
When I got home from the doctor's office, DDB asked what they doctor said. I said, "They said you have to kiss them every half hour until they get better." So, he kissed my thumbs. And, indeed, kisses them every time I present them to him. Which, you know, makes me feel better.
The other night, we were sitting around and they were hurting, and I bitched about it. David said, "Well, it's been longer than a half an hour since I kissed them. You're not following your doctor's orders, that's the problem."
I kinda love my David.
