I haven't tried deep breathing exercises, in part because the episodes are both reasonably short and quite mild.
Thank you for the good wishes. I gotta say, almost everyone has been super super supportive and kind, and it has made this whole ordeal so much better than it could be. I have not felt isolated or abandoned. The only person who was really mean to me was the hotelier in South Bend.
