Election Activism

Last night, I managed to finish writing 200 Get Out The Vote postcards, all addressed to Pennsylvanians. I may or may not have dysgraphia, but I do find that doing more than 10 postcards at a crack hurt and my penmanship (never good) really declined, so I mostly did them in batches of five or ten. I chose one of the standard messages, the one that seemed less threatening. "Hi, [name]. Thank you for being a voter! When will you vote in the Tues. Nov. 5th election? Please plan ahead. Lydy"
Now I need to post them. This will cost slightly more than $100, as they don't supply postage, just the cards and a list of names and addresses. I'm supposed to get them in the mail no earlier than October 8th.
I am not much of a volunteer, to be honest. But I'm glad that I did this. I hope it helps.
Meanwhile, I keep on eyeing the Harris-Walz friendship bracelet available at the campaign merch store. There's a lot of really lovely cat lady merch for Harris that I'm tempted by, but none of the really pretty ones are connected to the campaign, and none of the money goes to the campaign, so I haven't bought any.
