Wistfully Wiscon
Mar. 31st, 2006 07:01 pmThere turns out to be a chance, though not a certainty, that I could go to Wiscon. Which I really want to do, but of course I don't have a membership, place to stay, or transportation. (In my defense, I'd like to point out that I have just quit the job-from-hell without a new job to go to, and what with the job-from-hell, and then the decision to quit, I've been distracted.)
If any kind person can help me with any of the three, I'll bless you twice over, as well as pay for my share.
I can manage transport, if necessary. Bus, train, or renting a car are possible -- although after my adventures driving to Iowa (another story), I'm not thrilled about that last one without at least a passenger, if not another driver.
What with Wiscon having its 30th anniversary, and being sold out, and all the attendant problems this creates for a procrastinator like myself, I don't have settled expectations, but just maybe...well, a girl can ask, can't she? So I'm asking. Just in case.
