The last time Moshe Yudkoswky was in town, he asked me where my relationship with David is going. "Going? It's staying right here," I said. Turned out, he was a little concerned because, what with us not being married and not being able to get married and all, there's really no provision for me if I get sick or die or anything. I admitted that I had had papers drawn up for durable power of attorney and medical power of attorney and such, but had somehow never gotten around to getting them signed and notarized. He proceeded to start to nag me about this. So, he asks me the other day if I've gotten them signed. I haven't. He said, "I'm sending you a package." I said, "Ok."

Package arrrived. It says on it, "Do not open until you call." Moshe called. I opened the package. In it is a certificate, all nicely framed. Moshe read the text as I followed along. It said:

"Our soverieign Lord the King chargeth and commandeth all persons, being assembled, immediately to disperse themselves, and peaceably to depart to their habitations, or to their lawful business, upon the pains contained in the act made in the first year of King George, for preventing tumults and riotous assemblies. God save the King"

"Moshe," I said, "No one has ever read me the Riot Act before."
