7 Pink Cards

I've just finished making my first seven flash cards. They're all for lists of things that I need to memorize, such as the seven characteristics of living things. Sorry I keep on harping on that one, but it was the first one I ran into (appropriate for a Bio text) and it was a bit searing. I've never been one to recite poetry or bible verses. I can't remember them accurately enough, and there's always someone there to correct me, which is embarrassing. (Of the things I hate most in the world, being wrong is one of them. Being lost is another. Being embarrassed is a third. Hmm, there are more in the queue, but they become less and less relevant.)

I do have a math test tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it. So far, we've been covering material I covered on my own when I was prepping for the placement tests. I wonder if I would have placed differently if I'd not done the prep work. The first two weeks of this course have been really pretty dull, but nicely methodical.

I'm by myself this weekend. Everyone I know is going to Farthing Party. Eat good food and drink good drink for me. I'll comfort myself with my hot pink flash cards. *sniff*
