So, I was supposed to be on two weeks of days for training, but they're starting me on nights after only one. I guess I did well. The words, "You're smart," were used. Always gratifying. So I'll be working Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights from here on out. I'd druther Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, personally, but it's not that much difference. Sleeping and cooking schedules will have to be adjusted. It will probably take a little bit to get the kinks out of the new schedule. But I'm looking forward to it. No more getting up in the mornings! Yay! That was the biggest reason for becoming a polysomnographic technologist, after all.

Tell us something we don't know...

Hope the new schedule works well for you.

Yay! So what are your actual hours? You going to be able to sleep and still make it to Minn-StF?

The hours are 7:45 p.m. to 8:45 a.m. Mnstf presents a problem. I haven't decided if I'll just stay up on Saturdays, or take a short nap. The plan is to transition to days for Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, stay up all Tuesday night, sleep Wednesday during the day, then do nights Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, transition to days on Saturday. Should be fun, ne?
