Just for the record, brains are incredibly stupid

So, I nattered on about moving to the lab at Abbot Northwestern which is very, very near my home. Which is a good thing and all that. The paperwork is underway, but it takes several months. When I initially talked to Shelly about this, she asked me what shift I was interested in, and I told her that I preferred the last half of the week, rather than the first half of the week.

So, what with one thing and another, the powers that be evidently decided to move me onto Shelly's books and off of Rick's books. They are both regional managers, and they manage different labs. So, presumably for accounting reasons, but actually I don't know, they decided to move me to the Edina lab for the interim, which is managed by Shelly. And as long as that was happening, Shelly gave me my preferred shift. So I start at the Edina lab on Wednesday. Edina is closer to where I live than the lab I currently work at, though not as close as the one I will eventually work at. What with one thing and another, I also agreed to work tonight at the Woodbury lab for overtime, since when the change happened, they already had patients scheduled, but didn't have two techs what with me moving. So, this week, I'm working Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and making a bunch of extra money.

Dear very stupid brain which is mine: These are All Good Things. There is nothing to worry about. Yes, these are changes. They are Good Changes. Now will you please let me fall the fuck to sleep? Please?
