To me! Personally! The Good State of Minnesota is going to pay tuititon, books, bus card, and any other necessaries (like pens and paper and stuff) until I finish my program, or bomb out. I have no plans on bombing out. I've got a clear disability, the retraining I'm seeking will definitely ameliorate that problem, I have a clear and realistic goal on how I want to procede. I got the impression that my caseworker like to deal with clients like me that don't actually have a bunch of expectations. I will have to go through third party billing this next and future semesters, which will be slow and beaucratic. State money means paying back in some meaningful fashion; mainly waiting in lines and be polite when they mispronounce your name seven times in two minute and want to to go to where you just cam from. I used to be good at bureacracies. There's a danger I'll become so again.

Given the choice, I'm much happier having my tax dollars go to you than to, say, Carol Molnau.

That's good news. At least there's some benefits from my taxes. (Better you than a stadium.)

At last, the US does something with its money that I'm all for. I hope every bit of sales tax I paid the last time I was there all goes to you.

When I was in Noreascon 4, I was helping on Elise's table, and someone (non-American) didn't want to pay sales tax because it would go to fund the War in Iraq. We told her that it was Massachusetts and the tax all went to support gay marriage, which sent her away happy. Now the Minnesota one is all going to support the Lydy, and very well deserved too!

How can people mispronounce your name? Monkeys!

Anyway, congrats again.

amazing how the last name can be butchered. I thought going to Johnson would be easier but even that one seems to be hard for people to grasp.
So glad your schooling is being paid for. sometimes the gov't knows what it is doing!

What everyone else said. Occasionally government gets it right. I'm glad you are the beneficiary of one of those occasional times!
