Another Interview

Well, the last one didn't pan out. I don't know why. I tried to ask, but she didn't answer. However, I have another interview with a different company, on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. So maybe I'll have better luck with this one. I hope so. I could sure use a job.

Lots of times the answer is simply, "You were a good candidate, but someone else came along that was better." The fact that you got the interview in the first place indicates that they thought you were qualified. The fact that you got another interview so quickly with a different place confirms that you have good credentials for jobs that actually exist. This is great! Just consider the first one a successful practice interview and forge on.

Oh, and be sure to let them know at the end of the interview that you would really like a job offer. I know you think that this is obvious or you wouldn't be there interviewing, but apparently the interviewers like to hear you say it. ;-)
