Yes!

2. What's your philosophy on life?
I'm here to tell stories and love people.

3. Negative or Optimistic?
I am a congenital optimist. This sometimes scares people when they realize it. My friend Andrew's wife, for example, recoiled when I finished my report on timprov's health with, "And the neuro-ophthamologist says he's not likely to go blind suddenly any time soon, so that's good!"

4. What was your dream growing up?
To be a physicist and a science fiction writer. Considering the number of good things I have that it didn't include, I think 50% is a good success rate.

5. Worst thing to ever happen to you?
The last few weeks of January last year.

6. Would you give me money or a slap in the face?
Money, of course.

7. Tell me one weird fact about you:
You already know a fair number of weird facts about me. The one I usually say for this is that I once played Mrs. Brady in a French Club skit of "The Brady Bunch" which featured the Bradys meeting Salman Rushdie on a plane. As a result, I can sing the Brady Bunch theme song in French. If you're really nice to me, I won't.

8. Would you have my back or kick me when I'm down?
Have your back. Not going to dilute that with silliness.

9. Do you Trust me?
I'm not sure where the capital letter is going, but yes.

10. Have you ever kept anything from me?
Oh, sure. I haven't told you how I spent the summer of '92, for example, or when I first started to like cheese. But as for deliberately keeping relevant information from you, nope, not that I recall.

11. What do you think of me as a Person?
I'm still not sure where the caps are going, but you are the very best Lydy (not just in the whole house!), and I love you dearly.

12. Do you think I'm sane or insane?
Remarkably sane given some of the tricks your brain chemistry seems to like to play with you.

13. Would you cry for me if I died?
For weeks and months.

14. Would you be my crime partner or my conscience?
Depends on the crime in question.

15. If you could change anything about me, would you?
I'd let you choose. You are the Lydy. I am not the Lydy.

16. How do you fall asleep?
On my stomach in bed.

17. Would you come over to yell at me or just call?
We Do Not Yell At Our Lydias, she said disapprovingly.

18. Would you go on a blind date if I set you up?
I wouldn't go on a blind date if anyone set me up. But you've seen enough of my taste in men to have a better notion than most.

19. If I only had one day to live would you be honest or lie?
Honest, because I can see drawbacks either way, so I'd default to honest.

20. A million bucks.. what would you do with it?
Find a house up in the city closer to most of our friends. Travel. Give to charity. Invest and repeat. Something like that.

21. What is your worst fear?
That timprov will just keel over dead. Which he probably will at some point, his doctors say, so I should try to get it down to a lower-level fear. How, I don't know.

22. Favorite thing to do in your spare time?
Read, if that counts.

23. How many times did you curse at me while filling out this thing?
None.

24. Can you sing or dance?
My singing does not appear to be painful to those who hear it, and eight years of ballet training means that I can pick up a lot of dance stuff fairly quickly. I have done both in performance settings and have no interest in doing either in performance settings again. What counts as a performance setting is probably fairly quirky.

25. In one word, how would you describe me? Be honest....
You are the Lydy. Other words don't manage to get all of the Lydy. That's why we have names in the first place, so we don't have to try to smash a bunch of descriptors together.

26. Will you repost this so I can fill it out?
No -- feel free to answer in a comment or e-mail, but there are people who have friended me whose opinions on these matters I specifically don't want to solicit. (Although this is better than the ones that ask whether you would make out with the person etc.!)
