1. Can you cook?
Yes, though i'm better at baking than cooking.

2. What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator?
Use whatever technology is available to connect me with the outside world, then pull out my book and read until rescued.

3. What talent do you wish you had?
The ability to write fiction.

I have lots of places I like, but no one favorite place.

5. Favorite vegetable?
Asparagus, though if I weren't low-carbing, potato would come first.

My house is clean but cluttered (CottageCare came yesterday); my body is clean.

8. Any Tattoos and/or Piercings?
One hole in each ear.

9. Worst Habit?
You tell me. I'm sure I have many of them to choose from.

1. Do we know each other outside of LiveJournal?
Yes. Intimately, even.

2. What's your philosophy on life?
I believe in personal responsibility and the social contract.

3. Negative or Optimistic?
Cynically optimistic.

4. What was your dream growing up?
To become a doctor.

5. Worst thing to ever happen to you?
It didn't happen to me, but the worst thing for our family was probably my brother's accident, four years ago.

6. Would you give me money or a slap in the face?
Depends which you asked for.

7. Tell me one weird fact about you:
I have some obsessive-compulsive tendencies that mostly have to do with symmetry in things.

8. Would you have my back or kick me when I'm down?
Your back, of course. What a dumb question.

9. Do you Trust me?
Like a savings and loan? Mostly.

10. Have you ever kept anything from me?
Not anything relevant that I can think of, but everyone has private stuff.

11. What do you think of me as a Person?
With a capital P? I think you're a very fine Lydy.

12. Do you think I'm sane or insane?
As sane as you can be, given the limitations of your brain chemistry.

13. Would you cry for me if I died?
Lots and lots.

14. Would you be my crime partner or my conscience?
Depends on the crime.

15. If you could change anything about me, would you?
If I could make your brain behave without changing the essential you, I would.

16. How do you fall asleep?
I read until my eyes start closing, then turn off the lights. Sometimes I actually count sheep. I visualize them bounding over a fence -- boing, boing, boing, HOP!

17. Would you come over to yell at me or just call?
If I needed to yell at you, I'd probably send an e-mail.

18. Would you go on a blind date if I set you up?
Maybe. You'd have to talk me into it.

19. If I only had one day to live would you be honest or lie?
Be honest. Because if it were the other way around, I'd want to know.

20. A million bucks.. what would you do with it?
Invest half of it and secure my retirement, and give chunks away to people where I thought it would make a difference.

21. What is your worst fear?
Developing Alzheimer's or some other sort of dementia.

22. Favorite thing to do in your spare time?
Read.

You, once; the questionnaire-maker, a few times.

24. Can you sing or dance?
Yes, mostly for my own enjoyment.
