I passed the RPSGT exam. Rather well, too. As usual, I worried a lot and didn't study enough. I have a hard time studying. I never learned how. I did study some for this, and it paid off. I fortunately studied the two areas I have the most trouble with. It would be interesting to know if I could have passed without studying, but not an experiment that I was willing to make. Especially not at $450 a shot. It's really, really nice that they give you your results as soon as you finish the test. Right up there on the monitor and everything.

So, now I can list RPSGT as a qualification on my resume. This should help. I can join the AAT, the professional association, though I probably won't until I get a job, as it is $100/yr.

So, this was the last big hurdle. Now all I need is a job.

I did one of my clinicals at Methodist Hospital, and really enjoyed it. They're good people. They're also practically the only lab that glues on electrodes. The rest use paste. The paste washes out easier, but the glue stays where it's put better.
