Cute kittens are still cute
Mar. 14th, 2013 05:18 pmNuit is home from the vet. She now weighs 5.8 pounds, or did before her surgery. She looks chipper and happy, and is jumping up on things, even though she probably shouldn't. They said that the other cats might not recognize her and it would be best to keep them away, but she was clearly looking for her brother when she got home, so we let him into the media room where she is sequestered. He obviously recognized her, and his idea of how to deal with the fact that she smells wrong is to wash her until she smells right again. They remain incredibly cute together.
We are not letting the older cats in, right now. She can't have anything to eat until tomorrow morning. Poor baby. And no toys on sticks for two weeks. I despair of actually keeping her from running around and generally being active, but I'm not going to contribute to the delinquency of a minor.
I'm happy she's home. I try not to worry, but you know, surgery.
