The polyp came back benign. They say removing it may prevent future cancer, and I have no idea what that actually means, but still. No cancer. We like that a lot.

If they hadn't taken that polyp out and had noted it and taken it out next year (or whenever--I don't know anything about the timing), they might not have had the same result. That's why they take them out.
